Tips from

how-to advice for keeping your systems running
By now, most
people have a "hand"le on the usage of the mouse. But
how about your keyboard? Many users are unaware of
simple keyboard shortcuts that can be true time savers.
Use the following tips to skip a few clicks:
CTRL+Esc This is a popular shortcut to bring up your Windows
Start Menu. More recent keyboards have added a key that
performs the same function. This the key with the
Windows logo on it and is usually located between the CTRL and
Alt keys.
Alt+F4 Another useful shortcut is Alt+F4.
This is the common key combination used to exit out of a
window. This can be used just like the X-button
in the top right-hand corner of your windows.
Alt+Tab To switch back-and-forth between open
windows, use the Alt+Tab keys. You might find this
helpful when you have multiple windows open, because it is
much easier to find the window you are looking for.
CTRL+C After highlighting your selection using the
Shift+left/right arrows, you can use the CTRL+C to copy your
selection. Most users find this useful when copying text
and pictures from the web.
CTRL+V Now that you have the text or graphic
copied, simply use the CRTL+V keys to paste it where you like.
