further north than
before (roughly I-10 and Bingle).
"We are
Growing" Whether or not you may have heard it,
my wife and I are expecting a little baby bundle at Christmas time.
:-) Although it may be a while in the coming, we look forward to the
dividends this Blessing will be in joining our two other
kids.
"We are Seeking" A lot of
the requests I service arise due to an increasing shortage of
computer-savvy talent with exceptional communication habits. Having
an available resource to pull from in time of need is essential to
customer satisfaction. We are looking for opportunities to help fill
this technical shortcoming. We also want to promote individuals
whose talent is under-utilized. Please contact us if you would like
to discuss meeting these needs together.
"We are
Meeting Needs" Any successful experience in life
can be attributed to coming away refreshed from a win-win
engagement. This has been the major goal of our service and we trust
that this objective has been conveyed. "Pleased as pie" isn't just a
cliché, it's also our vision. Help us reach it for you in any way
possible.¤

Don't Cry Over Spilt
Milk Most of us are mature enough to deal with
the rigors of life, but we will quickly explode when losing work on
a computer. Not enough emphasis can be made for the computer age
mandate of "Save, Save, Save"! Get into the habit of saving any
working document at least once every 30 minutes or when you take a
stretch break to rest those weary fingers. And when the day is done,
consider the value of your effort and what it would take to redo it.
If you would rest better knowing it was in Fort Knox, then make a
second copy of that work and put it in a physically different
location (i.e. on a floppy disk to take home or on a different
computer). Accidental self-deletion is a greater threat than most
people know. In my opinion, it supersedes hardware failure, theft,
and natural disaster potential combined. Don't be caught having to
clean up after yourself!

When is the last time you had an
expert computer technician make a review of
your computing infrastructure? |
| This is the mantra of all
computer systems. But have you ever thought of it in terms of
computing hygiene? We have all been groomed on good health practices
for our personal lives, but we probably need some "4 out of 5
computer specialists recommend…" enlightenment too. Keep in mind
that your computer is a tool and as such will need periodic
maintenance and care. Experience has taught us that preventative
maintenance yields long-term benefits by extending the useful
life-span of the item in question. The same goes for computers. When
is the last time you had an expert computer technician make a review
of your computing infrastructure? If you can't remember, it's
probably been too long! Don't let bad habits drag you down!¤
